Hazel Oil and Nut Chemical Analyses

Students in Dr. Currie's laboratory at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology have done some excellent in-depth analyses of the chemical makeup of hazel oil, kernel and shell with an eye on the commercial and industrual uses of each.

Chestnut-Fed Pork

Starting in 2006, Grass Run has raised the first chestnut-fed pork available in this country for a long time, using Badgersett chestnuts.
